Is there a hotel close by?
Yes two hotels are nearby. Hampton Inn Brampton and avid Hotel Brampton
Will food be provided.
Yes we will provide complimentary coffee and soft drinks throughout the day. We will serve a complimentary buffet lunch for all attendees.
Will there be a cannabis consumption area?
There will not be a special consumption area setup. This a designed to be a business event. Attendees can smoke outside the front entrance parking lot
Are budtenders allowed to attend the event?
This event is designed exclusively for store owners, managers, and inventory buyers. The goal is to create a highly focused environment where key decision-makers can learn, share insights, and build partnerships that directly impact their business operations.
While budtenders play a very important role in the success of retail stores, this event is structured around strategic discussions, purchasing decisions, and operational growth that fall outside the typical scope of day-to-day budtender responsibilities. By keeping the audience limited to ownership and leadership roles, we ensure that every session, workshop, and networking opportunity delivers the highest possible value to participants.
Budtenders will have opportunities to connect with brands, gain education, and access training through other initiatives we host throughout the year, which are tailored specifically for frontline staff.
Can brands who do not sponsor the event attend?
Attendance at the Cannabis Retailer Summit is reserved exclusively for retail store owners, managers, and inventory buyers. This ensures that the event remains highly focused on the needs and growth of independent retailers.
Brands and licensed producers who wish to attend must do so as official sponsors or exhibitors. Sponsorship provides brands with access to the show floor, direct engagement with key retail decision-makers, and opportunities to showcase products, hand out samples, and build meaningful business relationships.
Non-sponsoring brands will not be admitted as attendees. This policy helps us protect the value for our sponsors, who make the event possible, and ensures that every brand present has a fair opportunity to connect with retailers in a professional, structured way.
How many tickets can one store get?
Each retail store is entitled to 2 complimentary tickets to the Cannabis Retailer Summit. These tickets are reserved exclusively for store owners, managers, or inventory buyers to ensure that the right decision-makers are in the room.
If your store requires additional tickets for other members of your leadership team, they can be purchased at an additional cost. Please note that tickets are strictly for licensed retailers only and cannot be purchased or transferred to brand representatives, service providers, or general industry associates.
This is an invite-only event, carefully curated to create a high-value environment where independent retailers can learn, connect, and collaborate without distraction.

Free parking is available at the venue, with overflow parking next door. Since the event is fully booked, we encourage you to arrive early for the best seating options.
No Reserved Seating
There is no seat number on the tickets. We will have 40 tables for attendees to sit at. Arrive on time to ensure you get good seats.
Dress Code
Business casual is encouraged, but we want you to feel comfortable. This day is about celebrating your role in building our industry, so all we ask is that you come with a smile and positive energy. Whatever you choose to wear is perfect.
We have a packed agenda filled with insightful talks tailored for retailers. Please feel free to bring a notebook or laptop to capture the valuable takeaways. We encourage attendees to stay for the entire day to get the most value for your time.
